This means that homeowners have until March 31, 2012 to register for the $5,000 grant. This extension applies to both new registrants, as well as those who have already participated in the program but who have not received the full $5,000 (contact information is provided at the end of the article).

\nThe grant program, according to government estimates, will not only benefit more than 250,000 Canadian homeowners, but is expected to generate as much as $4 billion in economic activity.
