Canadian Government Extends Eco-Energy Grant Program

Above All Projects wants to remind all homeowners about an important piece of residential energy legislation. The Canadian government has renewed the very popular ecoENERGY Retrofit-Homes program. This means that homeowners have until March 31, 2012 to register for the $5,000 grant. This extension applies to both new registrants, as well as those who have already participated in the program but who have not received the full $5,000 (contact information is provided at the end of the article).

The grant program, according to government estimates, will not only benefit more than 250,000 Canadian homeowners, but is expected to generate as much as $4 billion in economic activity.

Above All Projects stands ready to help everyone achieve their goals in this win-win situation. Our team of insulation professionals will work with you every step of the way as you upgrade the value of your home, reduce your heating and cooling bills and reap the benefits of the ecoENERGY extension.

Proper planning is ensured from the very start, and the Above All estimators will be there to help you determine your requirements precisely. Our teams of installers work cleanly, safely and efficiently, leaving no voids or empty spaces that can reduce the insulation factor ( “R”-value or RSI value). All of our work meets or exceeds Manitoba Hydro’s standards, and Above All addresses all of your insulation needs comprehensively, from attic insulation to vapour sealing to soffit and roof ventilation.

To find out how you can take advantage of the ecoENERGY grant before it’s too late, call Above All, or stop by and see us at our convenient 1149 St. Matthews Avenue location. Our staff will be delighted to work with you, and explain to you just how our polyurethane spray foams and blown-in cellulose can help you beat the Winnipeg winters for years to come.
